There's an urban fairy tale I once read about a young girl whose mother had died and her father was addicted to alcohol and "matches" - a kind of drug like crack but it dissolved into your skin instead of being smoked. By the end of the story, the girl dies - as in the HCA tale this story is a reboot of.
